In addition, the archway is also carved with ancient costume figures, who stand or sit in various shapes and are lifelike. The six characters "Longhu Mountain Scenic Area" on the archway are vigorous and powerful, and were personally inscribed by Wang Jucai, former deputy secretary of the Party Group and secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Writers Association, adding more cultural value and artistic charm to this stone carved archway. The two couplets, one inside and one outside, were personally written by Hao Biao, former chairman of the Standing Committee of the Yan'an Municipal People's Congress, and the other by Fan Gaolin, former chairman of the Yan'an Municipal Political Consultative Conference. Their content not only praises the natural scenery and cultural heritage of Longhu Mountain, but also conveys good wishes for the future development of our Longhu Mountain Scenic Area. The existence of these couplets not only enhances the cultural taste of the archway, but also becomes a popular spot for tourists to check in and take photos.
